Welcome to Cedarmere PTA!

Our goal for 2011 – 2012 is 100% participation and we’re well on our way! Studies show that when parents are involved in PTA, their children achieve more in school (higher grades, better attendance, increased motivation, etc.). Also, if you join, you’ll be an even more valuable member of our school community, and you will join over 6 million other people nationwide who have also made PTA membership a priority.

PTA Meeting & Book Fair Night

Wednesday Feb 8, 6:30 pm

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS:

Ms. Maureen Meekins, Primary CALS Teacher
Sara Egorin-Hooper, Supervisor, ALT-MSA & Autism

Have you heard about our CALS program? Baltimore County’s Communication and Learning Support program supports students whose complex communication, socialization, and learning needs are a result of having been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Come learn about this program and how it’s integration into Cedarmere effects your student at this special PTA meeting!

** Book Fair will be open immediately following the meeting **

Student activities will be held in Room 8 (Mrs. Swanson’s Room) during the meeting.

Any child who attends the activities will receive a HOMEWORK PASS (to be given to their parent after the meeting)
